The Town has 1.2 million gallons of treated water storage.

Sewage is collected in a mechanical “external aeration” plant and after treatment is allowed to flow into a backup lagoon system and then into the Vermilion River. Both plants operate under the monitor and standards of Alberta Environment. The existing facilities are to service a population of 5000.
