The Vermilion Regional Centre is the proud home to a variety of fun community organizations for residents of all ages. Our facilities include a dance studio, a grand ballroom for those special occasions, several meeting rooms and so much more.

What interests you?

  • The Senior Citizens Centre is a popular gathering place for those 55 and over, with various entertainment and recreational activities.
  • The annual Performing Arts Series is put on by the Vermilion Allied Arts Council, featuring dance, theatre and music entertainment.
  • The Vermilion & District Music Festival provides the opportunities for individuals to cultivate their skills for competition.
  • The Vermilion Heritage Museum proudly features intriguing thematic displays which tell the community’s history – a must see!
  • The Vermilion Agricultural Society puts on the annual Vermilion Fair in late July, a 3-day event for the whole family - a midway, parade, trade fair, grandstand shows, chuck wagon races, agricultural, horticultural and handicraft displays!
  • The Town of Vermilion Parks Recreation and Culture Department facilitates several athletics programs including hockey, ball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, figure skating and cross country skiing.
  • The Town and Lakeland College jointly operate an indoor swimming pool which is home to the Vermilion Vipers competitive swim club. Racquet ball, squash, tennis, wall climbing, and a weight training centre are available to the community through Lakeland College.
