Assessment Complaint

If you have questions or concerns about your property assessment, you are encouraged to first contact the Town of Vermilion’s assessor:

Many concerns can be resolved by reviewing your assessment with the assessor.

Formal Appeal Process

If, after speaking with the assessor, you remain unsatisfied with your assessment, you may file a formal complaint with the Assessment Review Board.

Assessment complaints must:

  • Be filed within 60 days of the date shown on your tax notice

  • Be submitted using the Government of Alberta Assessment Review Board Complaint Form (LGS1402)
