Oversized Loads

Oversized and Overweight Loads

The Town of Vermilion uses the TRAVIS Permit System to manage and track oversized and overweight vehicle movements.

TRAVIS (Transportation Routing and Vehicle Information System) is a web-based system implemented by the Province of Alberta for transportation permits. It allows applicants to submit, review, and track permit applications online.

Oversized and overweight vehicles are not permitted to travel through the Province of Alberta without an approved TRAVIS permit.
