If you are moving to the Town of Vermilion, or relocating to a new address within Town limits, you will need to enroll for utility services.

A one-time, non-refundable $50.00 utility hook-up fee applies.

Utility bills are issued monthly by mail. Customers may also choose to receive their utility bill by email.

Wastewater charges are based on a flat rate as well as water consumption. These charges support the collection and treatment of wastewater from flushing toilets, draining sinks, bathtubs, and appliances before it is returned to the river.

Costs reflect both the infrastructure required and the daily operation of the wastewater treatment facility to meet federal and provincial standards.

Wastewater billing is tied to water consumption because sewer usage cannot be metered directly. While some water use may be related to outdoor watering, rates are designed to recover operational and infrastructure costs while encouraging conservation.
