Position Summary:

The Town of Vermilion is seeking two friendly and reliable individuals to operate the Ice Cream Shop located at the Vermilion Provincial Park.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, working independently, and creating a welcoming experience for visitors enjoying the park.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  •  Serving ice cream
  • Operating a cash register and handling payments
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Stocking products and monitoring inventory
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Providing friendly customer service to park visitors
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Previous customer service experience is considered an asset but is not required
  • Food Handler Certificate is considered an asset but is not required. 

Position Details

Location: Vermilion Provincial Park
Hours:4 to 8 hours per day
Schedule: The Ice Cream Shop operates 7 days per week. Successful applicants will share shifts and alternate weekend coverage.
Wage: $15.00 per hour
