Council gave first reading to Bylaw 1-2022 Joint Assessment Review Boards.
Council approved the consideration of including the cost of a geotechnical study of the runway, taxiway, and apron in the 2023 budget.
Councillor Kevin Martin has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of March and April 2022.

Council appointed Anton Krys as Fire Chief for the Town of Vermilion.
Councillor Paul Conlon has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of January and February 2022.
Several residents addressed Council regarding the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP).

Council gave thanks to Mr. Derek Young for his service to the community and wished him luck in his future endeavors. Mr. Young will be leaving his position as Director of Infrastructure and Planning Services with the Town of Vermilion.
