Utility Collections Process Now in Effect

The Town of Vermilion’s updated overdue utility collections process is now in effect.

Utility accounts reaching 60 days overdue will receive written notice.

If accounts remain unpaid after 90 days, the overdue balance may be transferred to the associated property tax account and become subject to the Town’s tax collection process.

Residents experiencing payment difficulties are encouraged to contact the Town Office early to discuss available options.
