2023 World Elder Abuse Awareness Day June 15, 2023

It's been proclaimed World Elder Abuse Awareness Day June 15, 2023 in the Town of Vermilion.

Elder abuse does not just describe physical injuries — it includes a broad range of harms related to an older person’s emotional and psychological care. All Albertans need to be aware of the factors that contribute to elder abuse, how to recognize it and where to go for assistance if it happens.
