The Town is seeking agricultural producers to partner with the Town to dispose of bio-solids material that is produced from the wastewater treatment plant. The material is produced during the final wasting process at the facility and produces a sludge type material that is high in phosphorous and nitrogen. Because of these qualities, the material makes for an excellent fertilizer. There are several restrictions of where and how the material can be applied to agricultural fields.
