Alberta Broadband Networks – Mr. Ken Spangler

Mr. Ken Spangler, CEO for Alberta Broadband Networks gave a presentation on the current statistics, a review of the first year of implementation and the new partnership between Primus and Bell.

New Business

Invoice from Northern Lights Library System

Council accepted the presented Northern Lights Library System Levy charge invoice at a cost of $22,368.50.

Emergency Preparedness

Council requested an update on the local Emergency Preparedness Plan.

Utility Account Write-Offs

Council approves the write-off of $11,271.46 consistent with the Collections & Bad Debts Policy for the Town of Vermilion.
