Council appoints new Interim CAO
Town of Vermilion, May 8, 2024 - At their May 7, 2024, regular Council Meeting, Council for the Town of Vermilion appointed Michael van der Torre as interim CAO - MOTION #24/05/68.
Michael moves temporarily into the role from his position of Director of Community Services. His appointment follows a letter of resignation received from CAO Kevin Lucas who was with the town since March of 2021. Council for the Town of Vermilion would like to thank Kevin Lucas for his years of commitment to Vermilion and wish him well in his future endeavors.
Council will initiate a search for a new CAO immediately.
