Press Release September 7, 2021 - Chief Administrative Officer Announced

The Town of Vermilion is pleased to announce that Mr. Kevin Lucas, has accepted the position of Chief Administrative Officer.

Over 20 applications were received for the position of CAO. All applications were screened by an anonymous process with Council narrowing the search to the top candidates and carrying out interviews.

Mr. Lucas originally from Wetaskiwin, joined the management team for the Town of Vermilion in September 2020 within the role of Community Services Director. Most recently taking on the role of Interim CAO. He has an extensive background in municipal government and is completing his MBA in Human Resources.

Effective September 7, 2021, Kevin is very excited to lead the Town into the future.
