We would like to inform you that our current software provider will be sunsetting their software, necessitating a transition to new software for the Town's operations. This transition is expected to occur in the coming months and likely into the new year, with several functions potentially moving as early as July and August.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Vermilion, in the Province of Alberta, has given first reading to Bylaw No. 3.2024 Construction of Sanitary Trunk Main Borrowing Bylaw which authorizes the Town of Vermilion to borrow funds from an authorized institution an amount not to exceed $1,400,000 for the purpose of financing the construction of the Sanitary Trunk Main.
Please note that the garbage truck experienced mechanical issues on Friday. Therefore Friday, January 12 and Monday, January 15 commercial garbage pickups were missed.
Public Works and Utilities will be completing a manhole repair at the intersection of 50 Ave and 49 Street Tuesday, October 3 starting at 9:30. Traffic will be able to continue on 50th Ave during the work.

Effective July 11, 2023 AHS has issued a blue-green algae advisory for the Vermilion Provincial Park water.
Water Leak Repaired. The water leak has been repaired, and all water service has been restored.

June 13, 2023 - Effective immediately the water restriction has been lifted.
NOTICE. The Town of Vermilion's flower baskets and planters are being watered from a non-potable water source.
