Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll has been prepared for the Town of Vermilion in the Province of Alberta. Subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Section 311 (1) notice is also given that the 2022 Combined Property Assessment & Tax Notices have been mailed. The Municipal Government Act, Section 307 requires that the assessment roll is open for inspection during business hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm).

During the maintenance work, the roadway will be reduced to one-lane traffic and the East staircase will be closed for use. Some noise due to equipment movement can be expected.

Summer is just around the corner and the Town of Vermilion is excited to be collaborating with our two local greenhouses: Dutchuk’s Greenhouse and F’Laura n’ Company to create this years beautiful Baskets!

CURBSIDE WASTE COLLECTION MAY 16 - 19, 2022. To help with your spring cleaning, the Public Works Department will be collecting any unwanted household materials for our residents.

The Town of Vermilion Environment Committee is pleased to announce there is still space in the community gardens.

In May, the Utilities Department will be flushing and repairing the fire hydrants. Water moves through the main lines at a very slow rate, which allows sediment and mineral deposits to build up in the line.
