National Public Works Week (NPWW) - May 21-27, 2023. The Council for the Town of Vermilion proclaimed May 21 - 27, 2023 as National Public Works Week.

Mr. Stewart gave an overview of Vermilion Agricultural Society and an update on the grant application through the Community Facility Enhancement Program Grant (CFEP). Grant application has been completed which would enable projects such as new box stalls in barns, new roof for the big red barn, work to racetrack and in field ground. 

Town of Vermilion Residents and Business Owners. The Town of Vermilion has contracted Tanmar Consulting Inc. , to conduct property assessment inspections within the Town of Vermilion for 2024 Property Taxes.

Community Futures requested $750 in sponsorship and to provide business licenses. Council representatives are asked to sign business licenses on June 6, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm and judging on Lemonade Day June 7, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
