Notice of Water Restrictions effective June 8, 2023. The Alberta Central East Water Corporation will be shutting down the regional water transmission main from June 8, 2023 until further notice.
Ms. Lillian Wilson brought forward the request to allow hens within town limits behind the Vermilion & District Housing Foundation. Administration to follow up with further information to Ms. Wilson.
June 5, 2023 - Town Hall enjoyed a visit from the Vermilion Elementary School Grade 6 class. CAO gave a tour and the Mayor led them through a mock Council Meeting.

National Public Works Week (NPWW) - May 21-27, 2023. The Council for the Town of Vermilion proclaimed May 21 - 27, 2023 as National Public Works Week.
Mr. Stewart gave an overview of Vermilion Agricultural Society and an update on the grant application through the Community Facility Enhancement Program Grant (CFEP). Grant application has been completed which would enable projects such as new box stalls in barns, new roof for the big red barn, work to racetrack and in field ground.Â
