Councillor Paul Conlon has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of January and February 2022.

Council gave thanks to Mr. Derek Young for his service to the community and wished him luck in his future endeavors. Mr. Young will be leaving his position as Director of Infrastructure and Planning Services with the Town of Vermilion.
Council authorized the following in accordance with the 2021 Municipal Election and Senate/Referendum Vote: Institutional Vote – October 12, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Vermilion Valley Lodge Advance Vote – October 12, 2021 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Vermilion Town Hall.
Councillor Rob Pulyk has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of September and October 2021.
As per the Provincial reopening announcement for July 1, 2021, Council Chambers is now open to the public to attend in chambers. New Business.
Councillor Richard Yaceyko has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of July and August 2021.
Moment of Reflection. Mayor McAuley pointed out that considering the recent events in Kamloops, and in solidarity with our indigenous community, the Town has lowered our flags at all facilities.
Council agreed the meetings dates for July and August 2021 will be as follows: July 13 and August 17.
