The Council for the Town of Vermilion are proclaiming September 19-25, 2022 as Rail Safety Week. Mayor Throndson and Council wants to promote rail safety in in our community.
Vendors are invited to submit Proposals for the Articulating Boom Lift for the Town of Vermilion. The Town has a limited budget for this piece of equipment and is therefore looking to purchase a used lift that is in good to excellent condition.

Mr. Bradley Gallamore presented to Council the upcoming Vermilion Culture Fest event on September 24 and 25, 2022 at the Vermilion Curling Rink. He highlighted the intent of the event is to raise awareness and showcase multicultural talents, food, artisans and artifacts in the Lakeland Region. Mr. Gallamore extended an invitation to all Council members and public to this free event.

The Town of Vermilion is seeking an individual to assist with the part time facility maintenance at the Vermilion Stadium/Arena during the winter ice season.
Council appointed Councillor Kirby Whitlock as Deputy Mayor for the months of September and October 2022.
