New this week Economic Development, Mayor and Council say hello to Carol Wakefield and her staff at AWaken Therapies. They are celebrating their Grand Opening this week in their new building 4933 50th Avenue Vermilion!!
Economic Development and Town Council celebrated the Budd Hutt at it's Grand Opening with a plaque presentation and ribbon cutting. The Vermilion & District Chamber of Commerce was invited to offer a Chamber membership package to the business for review.
Find the unofficial election results for the Town of Vermilion (Mayor and six Councillors), as well as a Buffalo Trail School Division Trustee for Ward 4; Electoral Subdivision #1 here when they are announced.
Council gave thanks to Mr. Derek Young for his service to the community and wished him luck in his future endeavors. Mr. Young will be leaving his position as Director of Infrastructure and Planning Services with the Town of Vermilion.

Council authorized the following in accordance with the 2021 Municipal Election and Senate/Referendum Vote: Institutional Vote – October 12, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Vermilion Valley Lodge Advance Vote – October 12, 2021 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Vermilion Town Hall.
